Many people are calling Pranburi the  “hidden jewel beyond Hua Hin”.   Pranburi is just south of Hua Hin, approximately 25-30 minutes by car.  Located within walking distance of the golden, sandy beach of Kao Kalok in Pranburi is the luxury, custom housing development named after the tropical town of Hana in Hawaii.   The idea is that once you take the road to Hana–off the beaten path–you will suddenly arrive in paradise!  Those who are clever enough to seek housing options outside of Hua Hin will indeed find paradise and a custom built home that no one in Hua Hin can match on price or quality.

These homes are located in a gated community about 1.5 km from the lovely Kao Kalok beach area.  The development provides all underground electric, high-quality water from the Pranburi Water Authority (the water is pH balanced with the calcium removed & enough pressure to bypass the traditional electric house pump), and full maintenance services.  The development is surrounded by panoramic views of the nearby mountains, and there is always a consistent breeze flowing throughout the homes.

To give you a basic idea of the average price (as of April 2015) of some of the past homes recently built, you can achieve a large 250-300 sqm house on a plot of land ranging from 1,000 – 3,000+ square meters, anywhere from 10 – 16 Million THB. This would include your pool, gardens, custom home, terraces, driveways, etc.  The pricing is based on the square meterage of the house you decide to design and build and the amount of land you prefer to have.  The smallest plot size currently available is approximately 986 sqm.  Prices for homes on the smaller plots tend to start at about 7.5M THB.

The third phase of this development is currently under construction now and should be finished in late 2016 or early 2017.  There is a jogging trail with periodic exercise stations, a community garden, and a hiking path to the top of the mountain overlooking the development.
